DFA Media, LLC ("DFA Media," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at quotematchmaker.com and its subdomains (together, the "Site"). This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site, not to any other website or business that uses a similar name. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use and disclose it, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms of Use.

1. Quote Requests

When you request a quote on the Site, you enter your information into a form provided and operated by QuoteLab, LLC ("MediaAlpha"). The information you enter is sent directly to MediaAlpha, and we do not access or store it, other than the hashed conversion information described in Section 2. With your consent, it is shared with MediaAlpha's network of insurance companies, agents, brokers, and other advertisers ("Marketing Partners") so they can process your request and contact you, and we are paid when you submit a request. MediaAlpha's handling of your information is also governed by its own privacy policy and terms of use, which are linked in the form, and each Marketing Partner's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy. Marketing Partners, not DFA Media, make any calls, text messages, or emails you receive about your request.

2. Information We Collect

Information collected by the quote form. The quote form, operated by MediaAlpha, may ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address and ZIP code, date of birth, gender, marital status, homeownership status, vehicle information, driver's license status, driving history (such as accidents, violations, and DUIs), current insurance information, a self-reported credit range, and other details. This information goes directly to MediaAlpha, not to us. A record of your consent, such as the consent language shown to you, the page address, your IP address, and the date and time you submitted the form, is captured through MediaAlpha's consent-verification tools.

Automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform (Leadpages) and our ad-tracking platform (FunnelFlux) collect information such as your IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, the page that referred you, ad click identifiers (such as Google's gclid or Meta's fbclid), pages viewed, and whether a quote request was submitted. These tools may use first-party cookies or similar technologies on the Site. We do not place Meta, Google, TikTok, or Snapchat tracking pixels on the Site. The quote form and its consent-verification tools, provided by MediaAlpha and its partners (such as TrustedForm and Jornaya), may also place cookies or similar technologies and record your interactions with the form; their use is governed by their own policies.

Conversion information. When you submit a quote request, MediaAlpha sends our servers a notice of the submission. This notice may include your email address and/or phone number in hashed (one-way encoded) form, which we cannot read. We send this conversion information, together with the ad click identifier, from our servers to the advertising platform that showed you our ad (Meta, Google, TikTok, or Snapchat) so the platform can match it to an account on that platform and measure our advertising. We do not attempt to decode it, sell it, or use it to contact you.

Information you send us. If you contact us directly, we collect the information you include in your message.

3. Service Providers and Advertising Platforms

We use Leadpages to host the Site and FunnelFlux to track ad clicks and conversions; both process information on our behalf. We send conversion information to Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, TikTok, and Snapchat, which may use it under their own privacy policies, including to measure and personalize ads. 4. How We Use Information

To make the quote form available so your request can reach MediaAlpha and its Marketing Partners;
To support the records of your consent maintained through MediaAlpha's consent-verification tools and to comply with laws such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act;
To operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
To measure the performance of our advertising and the Site;
To deliver and optimize advertising, including targeted advertising and advertising audiences;
To detect and prevent fraud and misuse; and
To comply with law and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5. How We Disclose Information

We disclose information to:

MediaAlpha and Marketing Partners: information you enter in the quote form is sent directly to MediaAlpha and shared with Marketing Partners so they can process your request and contact you. We are compensated when you submit a request.
Advertising platforms listed in Section 3: ad click identifiers and conversion information, including hashed email address or phone number.
Service providers that host or support the Site, such as Leadpages and FunnelFlux.
Others when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of our business.

These disclosures may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws. You can opt out as described in Sections 6 and 7. We are not responsible for how MediaAlpha or Marketing Partners use information after we share it with them.

6. Your Choices

Calls and texts: Reply STOP to any text message, ask the caller to stop calling, or contact the company that contacted you. Opting out with one company does not stop others that already received your information.
Browser settings: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, including the first-party cookies used on the Site.
Ad platforms: Manage personalized ads in your Google account at adssettings.google.com and in the ad preference settings of your Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat accounts.
Global Privacy Control: Where required by applicable law, we will treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To make sure your opt-out is recorded, please also submit a request as described in Section 7. The Site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

7. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, and to the extent those laws apply to us, you may have the right to: know what personal information we have collected about you and receive a copy; delete or correct it; opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising; appeal our decision on your request; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

In the past 12 months, we have collected: identifiers (such as IP address, ad click identifiers, and hashed email address or phone number); internet activity; approximate geolocation; and inferences used for advertising. We shared ad click identifiers and hashed contact information with the advertising platforms listed in Section 3. The information you enter in the quote form (such as identifiers, customer records information described in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e), characteristics such as age, gender, and marital status, and vehicle, driving, and insurance information) is collected directly by MediaAlpha and shared with Marketing Partners; because we are compensated when you submit a request, this may be considered a sale or sharing of that information under some state laws. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To make a request, including to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, email contact (at) quotematchmaker.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Where required by law, a Global Privacy Control signal may also be treated as an opt-out request, as described in Section 6. We will verify your request using information you provide, respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days), and explain how to appeal if we deny it. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with proof of authorization. An opt-out applies going forward; to stop companies that already received your information from using it, contact them directly. You may also contact MediaAlpha as described in its privacy policy.

8. Data Retention and Security

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Records of your consent are maintained through MediaAlpha's consent-verification tools. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no website or transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Children

The Site is intended only for adults 18 or older who live in the United States. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to or display offers from third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post them on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
